Definitely a CJ-5 or CJ-7. A picture that shows a door (or door opening) or the vehicle length would let me narrow it down. |

Appears to be a wide axle CJ7 of '82-86. Note how the tires extend beyond the metal body work. Compared to earlier years when the tire was within the body sides. 1982 marked the wider track axles in an attempt to improve stability when the CJs were receiving significant unpopular press for rolling over. Not sure the '82-83 CJ5 ever came with the wide axles? |
