What is not german? The body? If the chassis with engine and axles is built and conceived in Germany, the orgin should be Germany. The body is almost always constructed by a third party constructor that buys a complete running chassis. If thats the case here it should be listed as Orgin: Germany, Built in: USA and it is, am I wrong or should every singel bus on this site be renamed? |

For me it should be listed as this example: /vehicle.php?id=384705 it's also too far away from his roots to be orign Germany. |

Agree with ingo, its very different compared the original german. And the respective 1114, 1112, and others derivates, are local develops under the [L59] chassis. |

![]() Wrong, 1982 Neoplan USA AN440A Pennliner 3500 Preserved at Antique Motor Coach Association of Pennsylvania; acquired in March 2000. It still remains as historic bus still to this day. ![]() This bus fleet was part of the 1,000 Neoplan bus order made by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for many transit agencies across Pennsylvania, coining the name of these buses as "Pennliners." |
