Is there a shot of the instrument panel?

The strip along to top of the fender tells us it is a Parisienne. They did assemble Parisienne sedans in Oz and I guess a few convertibles found their way there too.

I always wonder on how often US car makers made cosmetic changes on their cars, in those days, and how much it must have cost. Did the Australian car industry do the same way?
6 years of change for the 1965-1970 Parisienne:

- Not sure of the order, for the '65 models. Or was the grille with the square patterns the identifying feature for a special trim level (Custom Sport)?

- '68 and '69 look very similar, but are strongly different when you look at the details (opening of the engine hood, central chrome "bumper", grille patterns...).

The only export Pontiac with right hand drive retains 1965 Chevrolet full size instrument panel from 1965 until 1969.

Yes you are right re the wipers. Odd though as everything else about it says it is a Canadian model eg no letters on the front of the hood, and the aforementioned strip along the top of the fender.

@ rjluna2 & nzcarnerd: are you OK to say it's a 1965 Pontiac Parisienne Convertible made in Canada for Australia?

As I am. But if 2 senior contributors like both of you (I'm a newbie, here ;) ) agree on an identification, there are chances that admins put the good data for this car, if we inform them :D

Friend of mine owned this, and sold it to Crawford Productions for use in the series. Detail you can't see in the photo is the chromed chain steering wheel - lots of fun on a hot day!

Was originally a four-door sedan, locally assembled from a Canadian CKD kit. Previous owner cut the roof off, my friend had the convertible roof made by a local upholstery trim shop.

Made it there and back no problems at all. was a really good car.Sold it to Keats mate .
