I don't understand.

The fire-truck-conversion is not made by Mercedes Benz (they don't build them at all) and not by annother German fire-engine-coachbuilder, as Ziegler for example.
Quite sure, that Mercedes has only delivered the chassis with the cabin and the fire-truck-conversion was made somewhere else.

Actually I'm not sure where the appliance on the truck is built. I have no relevant information.
In Hong Kong the fire-engines are mostly the British-style, even the chassis are from other countries like Germany and Japan.

But I think the fire-engine can be marked the origin "Germany", because I see some of the T2 are built in Germany.

The ambulances, too. We have a plenty of Mercedes T1-based ambulances from Hongkong here. None of those conversions were German, all were built in Britain. Or was/is there a company for that in Hongkong?

The T1 ambulances were bodied by Wadham Stringer.

Some of the current Sprinters are by BAUS:

P.S. I've discovered where Hong Kong film directors get their police cars:

Basically are imported. Hong Kong government doesn't consider the problem of the cost. Fire-engines, ambulances, police cars and postal vans are introduced in higher price, and this is seriously criticised among the public.

Hong Kong also has some T1 and T2 for commercial use, like UPS and Fedex, but generally very few costly appliances are added, and their specification is relatively simple.

This isn't a T1, it's the successor Sprinter ;)

And it's just the regular version, not a special parcel-delivery-service-conversion as /vehicle.php?id=358296 , /vehicle_498525-Mercedes-Benz-UPS-Van-T2.html , /vehicle_511868-Mercedes-Benz-UPS-Van-T2.html or /vehicle_570157-Mercedes-Benz-UPS-Van-T2.html

Oh I'm sorry I've made a mistake.

For T1, here is another one, for private use: /vehicle.php?id=555142

This is just the basic transporter-version, without a specific coachbuilt.

Private Hong Kong users seldom make special coachbuilding to the Mercedes-Benz vans. :D
