American Eagle, model 10, 96", 40 ft manufactured by EAGLE in Brownsville, TX, powered by GM Detroit Diesel V6-92s. By this point in its history, Continental & American Trailways had simply become Trailways. Trailways was eventually bought out by Greyhound. Trailways has re-started in the last few years as a co-op of independent companies (as it had started in the 1920's) using the Trailways name to enable the smaller companies to buy things in bulk and have some connection. dr. g. |
