Either a Z4 [212E for LHD] or Z6 [214E]. View of rear panel or front grille would separate. If not, I'd call it a Z4 for looking so dreary. |

A scene from Hamburg? If yes, a rare sight. |

Was the Z4 exported? I know that no Z4 was imported to Sweden at the time. And most cars looked dreary before the 70's when a brighter colour scale was introduced (orange, bright green and so on). |

To Germany definitely not. Maybe some single cars were brought here by British servicemen, but Ford Deutschland never had any British Fords in their range. The Capri 3000 V6 was the only exception, I remember right now, because this version wasn't built here. |

this take is embedded between hamburgian scenes, but could be shot in Spain |

The storehouse in the background indeed isn't in the classy Hamburg-style, made by red brickstones. Otherwise before 1986 Spain had a real small car-import. Due hight import-taxes and strict regulations most cars were locally built. Also the private import was very problematical, one victim he have here: /vehicle_37809-Jaguar-XJ6-Series-I.html |

Yes - we have 9 other 212E LHD Z4s. Deciding this one is Z4 or Z6 is arbitrary choice either way on what's visible, but allows it to be coded and grouped instead of floating. Are there any other shots of this 3* - front, back or even side showing wheels? Number plates would be useful if possible? |

![]() ![]() it´s only to show the gangsters accessing the car to chase hero on "Große Freiheit" Hamburg St Pauli so the Zephyr is in Hamburg virtually only but we catch sight of another Ford! -- Last edit: 2012-07-08 14:33:45 |

Thanks. Red looks early Mustang, which had a strange name in D. |

Yes, it was called T5, as Mustang were naming rights of Krupp and Kreidler -- Last edit: 2012-07-08 15:21:41 |

The vibes I'm getting from the occupants of dsl's 'dreary' Mk III tell me that it's a 6 vs. a 4. |

Compare detail with eg this Z4. Are your vibes still vibing?? |
