 It's recommended to avoid the low-cost-airline, the bus has the ad of on its back. They are in financial turbulences now and try to dig money from everywhere, they can try. So from the customers. The b.tch ad the counter in Vancouver wanted to have 140 € from me - for 3(!) kilogramms excess weight of the hand luggage(!)  Finally we hadn't to pay anything, because we told her polite, but persuasive "O.k., no problem. Bring us the already checked in suitcases with our clothes back. We will now make a striptease right here and right now at the counter, and will put on so many clothes, until the 3kg are gone". And while we said that, I've packed the travelling books, cameras, accus and other heavy stuff in my pockets and under my pullovers (I already had three of them on, because we have known our overweight before...) After she had noticed, that our indiction was meant seriously, she stuttered "Oh..eeeh..o.k...try to loose weight...but the next time..." -- Last edit: 2012-01-13 20:24:41 |
