Ovali,1953-1957. Not sure, if the "Export"-bumper with the overriders is original, resp.when it was its first year. |

Could this have larger taillights? |

Maybe, but this means not much. The were often replaced. After accidents, or because the old ones give not enough light or because the owner wanted to pimp his VW more modern. For those, there were meant these "back window-changing"-kits. For clear reasons extremely hated by the VW-freaks nowadays |

Possibly another unusual Brit on the right - the pale blue rump of an Austin A40 Somerset? |

Should I add this pale blue car on movie page? -- Last edit: 2011-09-04 22:27:43 |

Definitely worth adding - it's very unusual A40 convertible, only made as far as I can tell Aug 52-Sept 54. |

Officially known as A40 Sports, 1949-53. Body by Jensen Motors, hence the resemblance to the first Interceptor. |

No - not the Jensen-built A40 Sport http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_A40_Sports but A40 Somerset http://www.flickr.com/photos/austin7nut/4343626457/ |
