If it was sold in Norway it would have been sold as a Talbot (1510 I think) due to the newer big tailligth. (but its not sold in Norway so I dont know) -- Last edit: 2011-01-16 22:50:54 |

Dark bumper, full chrome window trim but steel wheels, I'd say a 1980+ Talbot Alpine GL with the very british optional vinyl roof. Never seen on a continental version... Edit: ah, too late again... -- Last edit: 2011-01-16 22:54:42 |

@DynaMike I have seen vinyl roof in norway but only on earlier Simca version not Talbot. |

Another in ingo's favourite puked apricot colour in /vehicle_367206-Audi-Coupe-GT-Typ-85-1981.html . Both have the later Talbot rear lights. And earlier grey-bumper Chrysler Alpine in /vehicle_366988-Rolls-Royce.html - also with vinyl roof. -- Last edit: 2011-01-17 00:44:47 |

Sorry, but this is not the "puked instant apricot dessert"-tone. It rather "puked vanilla-banana yoghurt"... |

Gosh ingo, you are such an expert in these matters. So a challenge for you: what is the food ingredient for the green Avenger estate on the far left? Pistachio (or is that too easy)?? |
|

Soylent green ? |

Naah, not pistachio, a too artificial note. More like one of these ugly chewing gums. But we have a family-internal nickname for such turquoise colours: "kloseifengrün" a self-made spoof of "coloured like a WC-fresh-stone" (in the 70ies they were mainly turqouise). On the link with the Audi GT there is a blue Avenger, which colour is close the the "Schlumpf-Eis" - "smurf-ice cream", some gelaterias are offering. ![]() |

What do you think about the idea to start an international IMCDB-live-stream-challenge-contest about this subject-area? |
|

Made with real smurfs, or just an artificial flavouring?? |
|

Good answer - 10 points. |

It's the live-stream element which worries me. We would just end up with Jackass-style video clips. |

No, none natural indigrents, something artificial. No idea about the taste, maybe chewing-gum ![]() A propos smurf (and getting elegantly back to topic ). Some years ago I had the chance to buy his car: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Kartner a dark green metallic -not smurf-blue- NSU RO 80 in really good condition for a fair price (asking price 12.500 Dutch Guilders), but I was too poor and hadn't also space and real interest... |

I never knew that man actually had a good taste! |

Such a pity we don't have a way to write in small font to allow me to admit having a Smurfs album as a small child. |

About Talbot! Sure About GL? It was the cheapest one in printed in 1979 brochure and had white bumpers. Higher was GLS with vinyl roof and at the top of range SX (without notable external differences, well it had "bronze tinted glass" and velour seats). -- Last edit: 2011-01-17 20:40:49 |
