Rover 820/825 (can't say whether it's the 4 door saloon or the fastback), though the license plate is 1991-1992 (J-registration August 1991-July 1992) it is no older then 1992 as this is when the R17 facelift was introduced, including the grille as shown here. Edit 1: Actually, looking at the picture, is it just me or is there a line visible though the sidewindow that would indicate Fastback??? any ideas, or is that just me? Edit 2: Oww, no, it's a reflection, nevermind Edit 3: Let's presume the license plate is the original, in this case the car is 1992, if fake, than at least we can determine it's '92-'96 as in '96 another facelift was performed, rendering the grille entirely chrome rather than just the frame of it -- Last edit: 2008-06-30 12:48:15 |

91?? well, unless, like the Americans, Rover has chosen to designate the production that starts in late 92 as the model year of the following year, ie late 91 starts production for model 92... Anyhow, assuming above info is correct, this would be an 825 Sterling 91/92 |

good... that's settled then :D, ah, and as it's a Sterling it is a 4-door saloon, the fastback with equivalent trim level was Vitesse..or did they change that... |

You get get Sterlings and sporty Vitesses(180bhp) and later Vitesse Sport (200bhp) both in 4dr/5dr and coupe. |
