depends if you consider "hand-made" motorhomes as such or not... could be listed in both categories |

It's a homemade camper, an old camping-trailer was mounted on the truck-chassis. Not very rare in Germany, in the 70ies and 80ies you could see these constructions more often. |

Yes, if the chassis itself is not changed, or changed in a legal way, if the measures are legal and if the trailer-corpus is fixed stable, and also lamps and licence-plates are mounted correctly, it's no big deal to pass the technical TÜV-inspection. And with such a car you can save tax, too, because the yearly tax for campmobiles is quite low. It was also popular to change old fire-brigade-cars, police-transporters or military trucks into camp-mobiles. |
