Why a H2 not a H1? The H2s are not equipped with diesel engines. Every vehicle the convoy uses in the film have (or could have) a diesel engine in real life, except the H2. Which would make it logical that the tanker would carry spare diesel fuel. The M-35 has a diesel, the ambulance could very well have been a diesel. Chances are the news van was a 1 ton chassis. The 3/4 and 1 ton E series vans are available with diesel engines. The bus would be diesel, as would the Freightliner. Now why would they choose to use a H2 which uses a different fuel source? It would require more work for finding and storing two types of fuel. The only solution I can think of is that being the film takes place several years in the future they are implying the Hummer H2 is a diesel. (GM does plan to release a H2 diesel in the next model year or 2)

Just an observation.

Surely the answer is that the producers just didn't think about any of that when they chose to use an H2. :)

Two words: Product Placement. The H2 is more marketable than the more utilitarian H1.

Am I the only one who thought these vehicles looked like they're from the Mad Max films?

That was the filmmakers' intent, I believe. That people surviving in a world filled with zombies would fortify normal vehicles.

A little tip:
Don't try to find cars in a movie that's already on. All 4 cars added recently are too background and first uploaders have decided right not to upload them...

As if some users like you didn't miss worthy cars sometimes... and anyway i wouldn't care that much for this movie, the landscape is so empty that you can see the cars easily, they are not that background.

They're not that background. At least not the Isuzu Trooper and the Mazda MPV.

Indeed, these two are not so background and seem well visible (this was discussed on the forum if I remember well)

I agree with CarChasesFanatic: it happens that someone misses car in background that still could be listed. Even sometimes cars with a small role. This is more common on movies added long time ago (at the creation of the site, only cars with big role were listed, then later any car with a role, then some background ones, and more recently all the cars at least somewhat visible... so many "completed" movies may still miss cars)
On the other hand, some list a little too many background cars

Zombies in this movie ran like in Dawn of the Dead or walked slowly?

If I remember correctly, the Umbrella corp. engineered "new" "zombies" which were supposed to be enhanced soldiers or some such nonsense. They were much faster and could do more things (run, climb, etc.) Someone correct me if I’m wrong, been a while since I watched the film.

Yes I saw the 2nd movie yesterday and in the church scene a "Umbrella" zombie went in and attacked the main characters, also I hate the secret corporations that hide everything and doesnt want the people to be ready for disasters

Yeah i agree having all the vehicles diesel powered wouldve made sense. The ambulance was a diesel (7.3) powerstroke btw as well as the deuce, school bus, and freightliner. However the ford van was a gasser as well as the h2 which makes for some fueling concerns. IF i was gearing up to survive the zombie apocalypse my fleet would be all diesel.
