I watched one "Inspector Lynley" movie yesterday evening on TV. I posted some cars without having the corresponding pic(s), unfortunately. In this movie, Det. Insp. Thomas Lynley drives a light grey Vauxhall Vectra 5-door once and his blue Jensen once as well, and Det. Sgt. Barbara Havers (Lynley's partner) drives her own car, a white Austin (or Rover?) Maestro registered "D653 V?Y" with '?' possibly being equal to 'W', 'M','H','X' or 'N'. Maybe some extra info concerning this car can be found by consulting the UK registration database. |

Fun fact: The Vauxhall Vectra is apparently a left-hand drive model (Lynley enters through the left-hand door). |
