BMC
— Wikipedia page
The British Motor Corporation Limited (BMC) was a vehicle manufacturer in England formed in early 1952 to give effect to an agreed merger of the Morris and Austin businesses.
In 1964, BMC Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., doing business as BMC Otomotiv and BMC, was founded in Turkey in partnership with the British Motor Corporation.
See also BMC-Austin and BMC-Morris.
In later years, the Turkish company evolved and developed other models with partnerships with other firms and the successors of the British Motor Corporation. It is still active.
The British company, after changing its name to British Motor Holdings, merged with Leyland Motors to become British Leyland in 1968.
