The red car looks to me like a ca 1904 De Dion-Bouton. The dogcart on the left is a 1893+ Benz Velo, indeed. |

The Benz LKP-1 is apparently 1896 vintage. At the time of filming it was owned by sometime racing driver and car dealer Lewis Lewis-Evans (father of Stuart Lewis-Evans). It appears in this Pathe Newsreel film "Stagecoach" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9y9XtR_pizs |
