One of the later Fiat-based models? According to what I have read the last true OM was in the late-'60s. From there they were Fiat-based and the name disappeared by the late-'70s as IVECO took over. This truck looks quite modern - maybe the name continued in an export market? -- Last edit: 2007-04-07 10:23:33 |

OM 56? This is one of those without the "angled" roof used later. http://www.meoni.com/zoom.asp?IDVeicolo=111 -- Last edit: 2007-04-08 20:15:56 |

Believe the site linked was wrong,I never have heard of an OM 56,at least in that range(unofficially called as "pre-Z-Range",dating back 1972 and marketed in Italy either with Fiat and OM Brands)exists only those models:OM 50,OM 55(not 56),OM 65,OM 80 and OM 100; by then, believe should be a 1972 to 1975 OM 55('cause don't shown "I" of Iveco at centre of grille, logo that will be introduced on that trucks range only since 1975-1976,i.e.when becomes Iveco-OM 55) -- Last edit: 2007-04-10 18:47:04 |
