Listed separately from comments shown here... /vehicle.php?id=220063 "The standard Merryweather Petrol Motor Fire Engine in the years leading up to the First World War came with the choice of either a 50 or 60 horsepower, 4-cylinder water-cooled Aster motor" http://digital.scaa.sk.ca/gallery/fire/merry.htm It appears to be a similar fire engine (but probably slightly earlier abbout 1910) by the simpler radiator design on this 1913 Merryweather with 4 cylinder engine The earliest Merryweather with Aster engine I can find reference to is about 1907 Aster engines were made at Wembley London "This well-known engineering company has been engaged for many years in the manufacture of high. speed internal-combustion engines. More than -one manufacturer of commercial motors makes a leading talking point of the fact that his models are fitted with engines of Aster design and manufacture."
