Why are Toyota in EU always defaulted built in UK ? Was there a misconception that UK built all EU Toyota? I know I have changed a few in the last few days that were entered wrong. |

I'm not sure how that would have happened... I thought Toyota had factories in France and Turkey as well for selling EU-spec cars ![]() -- Last edit: 2021-11-04 15:37:59 |

Only the Yaris was built in France, whereas AFAIK the various generations of Corolla/Auris and derivative models were built in UK and Turkey (IIRC the Verso and Corolla sedan only came from Turkey) and the Carina (not all of them) and the Avensis were only built in UK ![]() |

I don't think any Corolla Wagons were made here, apart from the newest ones. I think the generation after this was always Japan or maybe Turkey too. |

I checked on a magazine and the Wagon example tested was said to be built in Japan indeed. |

All Euro-spec E110 Corollas were made in Japan, it was just the liftback that was also built in the UK. |

Unnamed single trim for the diesel by then. |
