Seems our first EOTTA or EOTA estate. Not a lot of info around, but seems the first Ford conversion by Abbotts of Farnham, unveiled at October 1954 Earls Court motor show on a Zephyr Six. About 800 made - 300 for UK, 500 exported - mostly Z6 with small numbers of Consuls and Zephyr-Zodiac. Might have been inspired by a 1953 Ford Australia concept - the roof-rack here looks identical. VPB 9 was May 1954 issue (Surrey) so earlier than car by a few months - but Abbots were based in Surrey ....

A 2012 ebay posting "1955 MK1 FORD ZEPHYR SIX ESTATE, OOU 827. This car is one of the very rare surviving Mk1 estates by Abbotts of Farnham and is the only known surviving Mk1 Zephyr estate in the UK. It is believed that around 800 were built, with 500 of these being exported. The Owners’ Club currently believe there are a total of 10 of these cars left in the world."
