 The vehicle has the same number plates as the Holden VE Commodore that Detective Jay Swan (Aaron Pedersen) drove in "Mystery Road".

 Must have traded in the Holden, that was definitely more of a cops car than this. This Patrol is way too old, modified, and slow to be an effective police vehicle. Still, the "cool factor" is there..
