For the 2nd series 132 we have code 132B and for some 3rd series cars 132C, however it might be worth to change this.

In the 1980s series of Polish books "Obsługa samochodów importowanych" by WKŁ with detailed tech. datas are exact "chassis codes" of many descirbed there vehicles.
Vol. 1 from 1982-83 (apart from other cars) is dedicated to 132 and it turns out, that all 3 series of the 132 had chassis code which started with "132A" (Specials and GLSes were "132A/S").
What we have now in "chassis" code field is type of engine, which in this case had different prefix than the chassis type/code.

The only posiitve thing about the current "not very correct" chassis codes (but correct for engine types!) is that with one click we can sort these cars easily. So maybe someone (more interested in old Fiats etc.) can be against this change?

Indeed, when we started pulling VINs I noticed that all post-1981 132 (and Argenta) had 132A as first digits. The same goes for 131 too. Sometimes I have listed myself them as 132B and C too, but I would be OK with such change. However I'd leave specific codes for known motors (like 132C.2 for 2000, 132C.3 for 2000 i.e.), but I believe you would too? :)

These differences are to see in chassis codes too (so cars would be still grouped). For exampe the "132 2000"/132C.2.000 was [132A2/S5]. But OK, mentioned book doesn't cover "automatics" and diesels. So other sources will be needed :p
