Seems to have a newer front - plate says 1998, VIN '99: 1FTNX21L6XEA53854 |

VIN says F250/350/450/550 Super Duty built April 1, 1998 in Medium Prairie Tan with 5.4. So it's either a coincidence or a very heavily rebuilt truck... |

VIN decoder spited out 1999 F-250 Super Duty: https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/check-lookup/1FTNX21L6XEA53854 |

That looks like Ford Europe There are two set of VIN: North America and the rest of the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_identification_number#Components |

I know, but I ran it through the site and that's the results it gave me. Carfax confirms '99 F-250 Super Duty... -- Last edit: 2017-08-23 13:50:10 |

Are there any inteeior shots? If the driver's grab handle is not present this is indeed an older model with a new front grafted on. |

F-250 badge at 9:38, so at least that part's right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_b5_GFwXeY At 17:44 there is a dark view of the interior. Steering wheel looks quite old? -- Last edit: 2019-11-10 15:57:56 |

It has the older F-250 badge on the fender. |

but has newer than 1999 mirrors ( in the video you see lights in ) .. what kind of mutant is that ? -- Last edit: 2019-11-10 16:47:23 |

The 2005-2007 front end swap is a pretty common modification, as are the 2003+ signal mirrors. It seems they only forgot about the badge, shame, maybe they could have fooled us. |

doesn't seem to have any ( clean shot of the driver's a-pillar at 9:36 ) whatever its been thru, won't fight against VIN, back to 99 -- Last edit: 2019-11-10 16:55:58 |

Yep 1999-2002 model by the absence of the driver’s pillar handle. Truck_Guy can we narrow further by the seats? |
◊ 2019-11-10 17:43 |
No, I didn't get a good look at the seats. It appears to have the Powerstroke V8 (it's clearly a diesel by the sound when it starts up) badge on the fender, this would further back up the late-1998 production date found by Gamer. -- Last edit: 2019-11-10 17:43:20 |
