The picture is a Y series van without doubt, but the date attributed by the index number seems to me to be suspect. Later. The entire 999 indices of "KGO" were allocated to the Post Office, and used between December 1948 and October 1951, these dates would fit the Y series van better, research indicates build stopped in 1949.
