The 17" 7-spoke wheels make this a SL500 (all other grades had 18" wheels, including the SL500 with the AMG/Sport package). 2003-only due to the older mirrors. These wheels were quite rare, because they were only standard in 2003 (although offered as a no-cost option from 2004-2006) - 18" were made standard on SL500 in 2004. Also, many (if not most?) people optioned the Sport package which had the larger 18" wheels.
