While the main image is an early 1968+ T2 (see the front wheel arch, no roof overhang), the thumb could be a 1967 T1 (from what's visible of the driver's side front door window) Indeed they are both 'Class: Pickup', in the usual French manner sold as 'Pick-Up VW' while most other languages used 'VW Pick-Up'. |

Not a "French manner", it's just due to the French syntax which usually gives the first place to what is seen as the the most important noun in a compound name, i.e. the model name before the make, in this case ![]() It's maybe the same in other Latin languages. |
