Available engines on the original Cobra included 289 & 427, but no 429. |

My bad. 429 appears to be on the Ford Mustang. I'd say 427. |

A Cobra hood doesn't open that way. It's hinged at the front, near the radiator, not at the rear. Also, original Cobras were powered by several Ford V8s: 260, 289, 427 and 428. But none was equipped with a 429. |
