It is an L series Vauxhall. Could be either a Wyvern or Velox as I think both were available in India. Mention of a surviving one here which is a six - Link to "www.team-bhp.com" I can find no mention of Vauxhall assembly in India in that era, although they did assemble American Chevrolets up to 1954 and also Hindustan assembled Bedford Trucks in the post WW2 era. -- Last edit: 2016-03-22 08:18:24 |
