On this page: /vehicle_115271-Grumman-Olson-P-500.html Jale points out that the P-500 has single rear wheels. The P-600 on the site have a different front end. So this should be a P-800? |

• I didn't find any external source given for the 2 very first identifications of P-500 (Father of the Bride and Marley & Me), both made the same day by someone I know being sometimes wrong about details (and who was saying "I believe" about one of these identifications, while he is very assertive in normal times). So couldn't this be a former misidentification in the IMCDb that we unintentionally spread since that day, giving it at the end the impression of being an accurate identification? • almost the same thing for the 4 P-600, for which the first one to have identify this kind of vans as such is... the same guy mentioned just above ![]() He did another similar identification, the 2 others are directly linked to the first one. • I didn't check the 2 pages of P-800, but I saw one or two vans with single rear wheels, some with just the cab being visible (so impossible to really identify the length or the number of rear wheels) and a lot of them just using internal sourcing. But none with an identification involving any external document. All of this just to say that the bases of our current identifications appear to be shaky, for me, and I think that pending some external searches to confirm these model codes, P-Series could be a valid ID ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-02-20 00:10:42 |
