If a Vixen this is 1970 S3 (168 made) or 1972 S4 (23 made) - bigger grille than S1, extra vents near top of bonnet, and the side grilles in wing taken from Mk4 Zephyr/Zodiac. Or it could be 1969 Tuscan V6 (101 made) which used same body as Vixen S3 There was also the Tuscan V8 which had a sequence of body detail changes 1967-70, but I'm unclear what these were apart from a LWB running change (extra 4.5") in 68/69 and then a "wide-body"version in 69/70 which were 4" wider and doesn't look likely here; 73 Tuscan V8s built including 21 wide-bodies. Vixen S3/S4 and Tuscan V6 had black alloys as standard, with wires usually meaning earlier version, but in this case it smells like a bit of retro-installation, so will rely on other features to enter as S3. |
