The plate was issued by Leeds County Borough Council in 1919. (U4868 to U5896 in that year) It must have taken a while to drive from Leeds to London at that time, perhaps it came on the train. It is almost impossible to put a name against such a generic back end design, most two seaters looked like that, and the back suspension is not clear enough to say it must be a Morris. If asked to name a make, I would say it's a Wolseley Ten, but that's purely a guess based on the size, and the shape of the front mudguards. -- Last edit: 2016-01-24 09:36:34 |

Don't know what it is, but it's not a Wolseley 10. Although announced in Nov 1919, the 10 did not enter production until a year later. |
