![]() ![]() DVLA says it is from 1988 and has 1993 ccm engine. 1993 is perhaps a tiny mistake, Wiki says that "1993" was only in Sierra RS Cosworth, which this one isn't. Other Sierras 2.0 had 1998 ccm: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Sierra The trim/wheels of movie car looks like in GLS version, but there is no any extra badge on the boot lid... -- Last edit: 2018-06-02 20:53:49 |

Same one here: /vehicle_609834-Ford-Sierra-1988.html Check sites give 'GLS I' as a description. I think 1993cc is correct for 2.0 Sierras using the Pinto engine (i.e. pre-1990) rather than later twin cam ones. |

OK. Nice to see it in different series/movie. Faked police car I guess? |

As I told you my sight of a basic looking 35i-Passat in full Polizei-trim, but with G60-engine, years ago, police-versions are not neccessarily identical with the regular ones. It's usual, that the car-makers present tuned or other specialized versions exclusively to the police. Sometimes even for free, as test-cars or for PR-reasons. In Germany there is a hard fight between the car-makers to capture fleet-orders by authorities, especially by those with a big public image as the police. |

I'm aware of such combinations, but then it still couldn't be considered as "RS Cosworth" to me, more as some police special. |
