"Spanish Dodge" would mean a Barreiros truck, as the Dodge name wasn't used in Spain before late 1970s: 1978, according to this French page. Whatever the accurate year, Barreiros is still used in this 1974 Spanish article, and the movie was released in 1972... Anyway, and except for military trucks, Barreiros apparently made only COEs (es), so this truck can't be one. No Sava/Austin truck seems to fit either (es), Pegaso apparently made only COEs too (es), and a Ford Thames based Ebro Serie B (B-35: GVWR of 6,600 kg/14,550 lb // B-45: GVWR of 7,700 kg/16,975 lb) looks like having the same hood and fender: ![]() For me, it seems to be either a Fordson Thames ETx / Ford Thames 50xE or its Spanish cousin Ebro Serie B... If an Ebro, and as the payload can't be identified from the picture, Ebro B can be used as default identification in the IMCDb... |
