1968-79 Typ 2 / T2 with the 1972+ rear end. Unless a 1971+ Mexican version (is this scene shot in Mexico City?), in which case I don't know the year when the facelift took place... As Mexican model, it would then be a Panel (es). |

It has the Brazilian high roof, so 1997 or later. Link to "pt.wikipedia.org" |

so not origin Germany any more. At those models not more than the silhouette is identical with the orginal. |

From what I have found, they were also built in Mexico from 1991-94 or 1996 (found different end dates), then from Brazil when Mexican production stopped. -- Last edit: 2015-12-05 18:27:24 |

Why? It's not the hybrid version from Brazil (T1 and T2 combo). And it seems that it was made in either Mexico or Brazil, with a water-cooled engine (the only version available in Mexico with this roof) -- Last edit: 2015-12-05 20:12:19 |

Because for the reasons, you already mentioned: other engine, other roof, plus other interior and uncountable many other different parts. |

Hard to tell in the picture, but it looks like it has the 1991-97 mirrors from the T3, so would be still built in Mexico. |
