I thought the large parking/turn signal lamp indicates earlier model. The one 1971/72 you refer this due to smaller parking/turn signal lamp style. Can anybody refute this? |

It's the other way around...'68s and '69s had small lamps, and '70-'72 models had large lamps. '70s are easy to spot, though, since they had clear lenses. Google image search for "1968 Nova," "1969 Nova," etc. will confirm this. Oddly, though, one of the first results for "1970 Nova" reveals a car with amber lenses.
