Mack or GMC? |

It looks more like a Mack Superliner than a GMC General. |

(1977-80 Chevrolet Bison / 1977-88 GMC General // 1977-93 Mack Superliner) For me, the fenders/headlamps combo looks indeed a lot like the one of a Mack model, and many Superliners apparently have these air cleaners with a pipe and a bailer on top of it. But my eyes may also mislead me So, Mack or GM? _____ Edit: By the way, is it really a semi-trailer tractor? It looks more like the bare chassis of a Simple truck... -- Last edit: 2015-09-16 03:47:23 |

I agree - there's no fifth wheel, so it's not a tractor. With that said about the Chevy Bison, we won't know really what truck this is unless there's a closer shot of it. |

That is definitely a Mack superliner. That is mack R series cab on that truck, It has the battery box in between the fender and fuel tank like on the Mack, GMC/Chevy never mounted them there, & The door handle is up by the window like on the Mack, unlike the GMC/Chevy's. http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/tom_ritchie/2004/june12/602.jpg |
