At least a 2002 model, as indicated by the (Five Spoke Sliver Clearcoated wheels). |

[quote=tonkaTRACKER]but sometimes has the 3 spoked wheels It’s a mistake in the movie (bad continuity) This type of thing happens in other films as well. It’s not uncommon. The Aztec with the Three Spoke wheels is still a fairly new vehicle as is has body-color keyed exterior panels. However the Aztec above in the main picture is indicated by it’s wheels to be at least a 2002 production model. BTW, what is happing in the above scene? The Aztec is seems to be parked off to the side of a road, then in one of the thumbnail pictures the Aztec is seen in the middle of what looks to be a makeshift junkyard??? -- Last edit: 2007-01-31 16:21:05 |

Yeah I know its a mistake, that is one of my favorite things to do while watching movies (point out the screw ups like this one) In the two pics where the Aztec is by itself it is in the woods with the tent up while its owners are rock-climbing (before they are killed) The "junkyard" is where the family of mountain men put all of there victims cars |

Thanks for the info on the movie… Sounds interesting, I’ll have to add this film to my "Movie rent list". In this thumbnail that Antp gave, it looks like the "mountain men" removed the front wheel/ tire assembly and something from the engine compartment. If it wasn’t for that, I would have hot-wired the Aztec (assuming the keys were not in it) and used it to escape. |
