1947-55 Advance-Design truck with the 1947-53 grille and 2-piece windshield for sure. The ventilation pane on the cowl makes it a 1947-50 model while the 1-line hood side emblem could be the one of a 1947-49 one. A view from the right side of the truck would help to be more sure. The hood seems to be the "flat" one of a heavy-duty 1½-ton (4100 / 4400) / 2-ton (6100 / 6400) truck. For the record, the "medium-duty" trucks of the Advance-Design truck line were the ¾- and the 1-ton models, the latter sharing its 137"/3.48 m wheelbase with the 1½-ton 4100 and the 2-ton 6100... -- Last edit: 2015-07-21 21:02:36 |
