1970-1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, possibly with a 1972 foglight-less front bumper. 1970: round foglights in bumper 1971: rectangular foglights in bumper 1972: foglights in grille, plain bumper |

Tim, isn't this the 1972 indicators? Link to "commons.wikimedia.org" |

^Yes. Does that contradict anything I said? |

You were saying that they are foglights ![]() |

Alright, indicators then. What I'm trying to say is that this car looks like it has the 1970-1971 grille with the plain 1972 bumper. |

That clears up my confusion, Tim ![]() Looking at the picture again, I see what you mean. |

Sure looks like a '72 from here. Photo quality isn't sufficient for me to see the grille bar pattern but that is a '72 bumper and it appears to have the vertical rectangular parking lamps inboard to the headlamps, a 1972-only feature. Believe I will go ahead and list as 1972 pending any more photos/information. |

Maybe my monitor is clearer than yours, but this car definitely does not have the 1972 indicators. There is too much sheetmetal visible between the grille and the headlights. |

No, Commander 57, Tim is correct with this. |

Of course, that means this car has no parking lamps or turn signals at all. It would not be street legal. |

I suppose 1970 would be appropriate as first possible year for a modified 1970-1972 Monte Carlo with precise year unknown. |
