There is a Renault rhombus in the rear window. |

And it is 1976+ R20 TL/GTL* [R1271] *possible is also L, but this one was really rare and in fact I'm not sure how its dashboard looked alike. Anyway it was R1271 too. |

Good hint, Atom, thanks! Because of this, I found this pic here which is from a Renault 20 and I think most of it fits: Link to "b.imdoc.fr" -- Last edit: 2015-07-10 20:54:20 |

One thing however starts to irritate me. Dashboard lacks switches of power windows (above the sliders on the right side of driver). According to brochure pics it was like that in "cheaper" R20s, but the top of front seats doesn't fit to such early R20. It looks more like in R20 TS or even R30, but also not identical... EDIT: OK, the French Wiki says that in France already R20 GTL had power windows, so we stay only with 1976-79 R20 L/TL - R1271 or 1979 R20 LS - R1272. Still not sure what this seats upholstery means - perhaps there was bigger choice and not all types were to see in brochures. -- Last edit: 2015-07-10 22:52:47 |
