I've heard the Musso was badged as a Mercedes in some markets, though not convinced the badge is real here. |

Doesn't say what markets used Mercedes though. Here's a Mercedes badged one in Thailand: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ianfuller/3826207427 but the grille and badge size seem different. |

The link given as source in Wikipedia leads to an Australian article. From a quick search, Philippines and Australia seem indeed to have been the only countries to have had MB Musso. • In Australia, the vehicle was first sold as MB then as SsangYong Musso (see the "On the Lot" Chapter). • In Philippines, it seems to have been only "not-so-official" MB models, as it was apparently just a rebadging made by some dealers outside the licensing agreement. So totally illegal ![]() (This said, this is just something unsourced written in a forum, we have no way to know how reliable is the author of this post) For now on, there is no Mercedes-Benz Musso in the IMCDb. -- Last edit: 2015-06-29 16:19:44 |
