The car in this picture is not a Caprice, but a 1985-86 Pontiac Parisienne.

Never thought I'd see a photo of a Canadian Pontiac Parisienne in America. Nice find.

took over 20 years to get additional views but now we can set it to 1986

filmed in Florida , possibly a trade-in from a Snowbird at some point...

Pontiac started using the Parisienne name in the United States after downsizing the Bonneville to a midsize car in 1982 and discovering a lot of Pontiac buyers still wanted a fullsize car, economy be darned.

Wikipedia wrote When General Motors revised the G-platform in 1982, Pontiac in the United States renamed LeMans as Bonneville Model G, moving the nameplate down from the full-size to mid-size car. The full-size B-platform car was renamed as Parisienne, making it the first time that Parisienne was sold in the United States.
