They were produced by KTM of Austria for retail through a German department store chain. Since the department store got a special deal in lieu of warranty, the bikes were sold under this bogus brand name, so customers would contact the retailer instead of KTM if something broke. Like some Puch bikes sold with US-Sears'store chain brand in Sixties'(just sold like any supermarket's goods)
Foxit ◊ 2010-05-15 17:50	Foxi is a brandname used by Sparta Netherlands. It's not KTM, it's not german, it's not austrian. It's dutch. This moped was sold as Sparta Buddy in europe and at least as Foxi GT and Flying Dutchman in the US.
