Right, you are Ddey65. I just wish to see the script clearly. |

Speaking like Yoda you are, rjluna2? What helps here to differentiate a 1980-81 model from a 1982-86 one, as the change involved apparently only the appearence of the Ford oval in the middle in the grille, the deletion of the Ford lettering and the fewer vertical bars in the grille, all things that can't be seen here? Is there other details my usual source forgot to mention? |

I am speaking like Ddey65 does It is the 1982-86 script style at the front fender. 1980-81 model: /vehicle_113266-Ford-F-250-1980.html 1982-86 model: /vehicle_95820-Ford-F-250-1982.html |

Aren't these the same truck? |
◊ 2015-06-07 20:15 |
Yes, that's what I am implying since they are the same color and it's not unusual for movies to reuse background cars. |

Thanks for the details, karoomay and rjluna2. |

What's make this Ford F-150, Ford_Guy? It can be as easily as 1982/83 Ford F-100 as well |

@ Ford_Guy (or the admin who changed the F-Series into F-150): Both the F-100 and the F-150 were available with the "shortest option": 116.8"/2.97 m wheelbase // 6½ ft./1.98 m bed. And as (indirectly) said by rjluna2, the F-100 was indeed discontinued only after the 1983 model year. So unless sure of a 1984+ truck, wouldn't it be better to leave it with the generic F-Series name, as apparently no clue can confirm this F-150 identification?
