Peterbilt indeed, but the oval emblem was created in 1953: the louvers on the hood sides of this truck indicate an older model. As it has a dual rear axle, and given Peterbilt's nomenclature, it must be a 3xx.

A single rear axle 270 and a heavy hauler 354 / 355 also exist with the same model years. Besides its single rear axle, the 270 also seems to have a different grille, and the 354 / 355 has clearly a different cab roof:
