Not a GT, but a copy. Several things give it away such as shape of mirrors, and the stripes are not quite correct. Also the car is destroyed, rebuilt and destroyed again, so I don't think they would have done that to a real GT. |

![]() ![]() After this point in the film it is seen driving whilst on fire, at which point it becomes the [XW] model. The Characters then go on the hunt for parts to repair it, where they come across the blue [XY], and transfer the parts across, and repaint it the same as before |

The movie companies must think we are idiots, there must have been at least 10 cars that were used and destroyed, and continuity wasn't a priority for them. but GREEN is nice! |

In fairness, Running On Empty, as far as cars are concerned the majority of cinemagoers are idiots. It's only petrolheads like us know the difference: movie makers must think IMCDb's a bloody nuisance. Luckily for us they keep committing f***-ups like this. ![]() |

you have to love the single pipe exhaust when the car goes under the truck. Does it have a nine inch because it could just have a borg warner diff by the look of it. nice white paint in inside doors as well |

The car in the movie is a manual but when it rolls off the truck you can clearly see the auto transmission pan |
