Within 6 months of introduction of the model range and with the introduction of the 'P' registration in August 1975, the range was simplified to become merely 'Princess' and the individual marques of Austin, Morris and Wolseley were dropped. This car is clearly just a Princess, identified by its grille badge, chrome sill trim and the small crown that appears on the bonnet, plus another Princess badge on the rear quarter panel. Its twin headlights show it to be an 1800 model, the 2200 only receiving trapeziodal headlights. -- Last edit: 2007-01-29 21:12:13 |
