TDH 503M well this plate must now be on another vehicle as it says it was registered in 1966?, which is to old for this car its still on the road (as of 2007) Its now yellow, 6230cc petrol so I take it to be a Roller or another Bentley. |

The facia dates this car as a 1966-1969 model. Most likely it was on private plates for the first owner and re-registered later. I think that M palted came in in 1974 or 1975 but someone here will know that for sure. |

TDH 503M is currently listed as a Bentley. 'M' is for vehicles registered between 01 August 1973 and 31 July 1974. Up to a certain date (probably the late 1970s or early 1980s) it was possible to re-register vehicles with a later registration to make the car appear younger than it actually was. So it could be the same vehicle although the yellow colour is strange and very rare I would think for a Bentley. -- Last edit: 2007-02-07 10:48:28 |

This is now my brothers car and it is a 1966 Bentley, And as "Sunbar" correctly states it did have a more recent number-plate fitted, it also used to be gray now its jaguar primrose yellow, It was bought at auction with the drivers door removed and bent, this was due to the previous owner getting out of the vehicle with the engine running and catching the gear selector stalk (to the right of steering wheel on the column)and it running away backwards with door open. All of that damage is now fixed tho. |
