Looks like a Cockshutt, but in Oliver colors. Matches a Cockshutt 20. -- Last edit: 2015-04-09 00:42:38 |

I've never seen a Cockshutt tractor beyond Canada and the U.S.A. I've never seen a Cockshutt painted green. Could have been some Brazillian marketing venture, I suppose. Call it a Cockshutt 20. Actually, about the only thing green on it is the front weight and the top of the air inlet. -- Last edit: 2015-04-09 19:16:47 |

Brantford Expositor: "75 years ago 1940 George T. Cockshutt, Cockshutt Plow Company, leaves the City Sunday on a business trip that will take him to 10 countries of South America in a period of two and a half to three months. He will travel by train to Miami, Florida, where he will begin the flying part of his trip that will cover practically all the countries of South America." snock on ebay.com: "This is a high quality poster that I have made from an image of a circa 1940's two-sided metal advertising sign originally issued by the Cockshutt Farm Equipment Co., Ltd of Brantford, Ontario, Canada for a dealer in Argentina." Yesterday's Tractors foum: "Cockshutt 30 diesel Some were exported to South America and other destinations." So, it seems Cockshutt did export something to South America. -- Last edit: 2015-04-09 19:46:53 |
