johnfromstaffs ◊ 2015-03-31 22:41	The purpose of this database, according to its moderator, is to identify the motor cars used in films for the assistance of non car buffs who watch films. If information is available, like for instance the thumbnail, which makes the task of identification more positive, what is the point of concealing it? Without a view of the radiator it is impossible to tell a Royce of this era from a Bentley from the distance of the main picture. Sandie ◊ 2015-03-31 22:49	Part of the problem is that there's often a wait for something to be approved when it is sent by a non-admin. This means that the person might not be around to immediately add thumbnails when something appears as unknown. It's easier for those of us who are admins as we can work on contributions entry-by-entry (page + thumbs at the same time) rather than block of pictures + long wait + block of thumbnail comments.
