It's not Sir Roger's car; it may have been his personalised plate, but he only had a Rolls-Royce at this time (bought after "The Spy Who Loved Me"). It's more than likely just a coincidence.

It's very unlikely that anyone would buy this thing as a personal car. It's a funeral follower. You might (just) buy the hearse version to transport your surf boards.

No - it's a 1962+ Vanden Plas Princess 4-Litre. Both were actually built by Vanden Plas, so they're sort of cousins. 83RN62 (if genuine) should be a Royal Navy plate
